Selected in 1967 at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, Columbia was once grown throughout Oregon on ~300 acres, however, was discontinued in the early 80s in favor of Willamette. It is now grown on a much smaller scale. Columbia is a seedless variety with good storage stability and and small to medium cone size. Columbia has a great signature citrus kick.
Used For: Ambers, Ales, Pale Ales, Porters and Stouts.
